I'm just back from the third TISEC weekend of this academic year and I, along with every other participant and contributor, am shattered after late nights, early mornings and packed days. I am also struggling to get my head around some of the teaching, particularly in the area of how we use the bible. Of course, teaching that stretches and challenges us is a necessary and important part of training for ministry. But where that teaching appears to break with orthodoxy and the traditions to which, as far as I'm aware, the SEC still holds my levels of struggle rise even further than normal!
So I'm left with much to process over the coming days and weeks. If it ever becomes coherent you might just get to read about it.
