It may not be long until there is the 'pitter-patter' of tiny feet in our flat because today we went to... the dog's home!
I love dogs, as does YKW, and we are keen to 'adopt' an abandoned one. We had thought that we might get a greyhound as they are often abandoned once their racing days are done, but the ones we saw today were far bigger than we realised and wouldn't work in a flat the size of ours.
But the search continues, so it'll be a wee bit longer until that 'pitter-patter' is heard in here. Watch this space.
I can imagine, not the patter, but the frantic scrabbling, as a four legged friend tries to accelerate on your laminate floors!

There's a Dogs Trust in Uddingston open 12-4pm and SSPCA in Hamilton if you have no joy in Glasgow. You can check out the dogs they have online - Hamilton has 2 greyhounds and a lovely we collie x called Broxy! Happy to show you where they are since they're over my neck of the woods.
