I woke up this morning to no internet on my computer - which is the one that we have been using because YKW doesn't yet have a card (I think that's what they said it needed) to pick up wireless - despite the fact that the wireless signal was still being detected.

However if I plugged the line into YKW's computer I could get online.  I therefore decided it must be a problem with the wireless box.  So I plugged my computer into the modem directly and whilst a connection was recognised I still couldn't get online.  This has led me to the conclusion that the problem is with my computer rather than the wireless.

If my suspicion proves to be right then I will credit myself with another step taking down the 'becoming computer literate' path.  But, whether I am right or not, I still have no idea what to do next!
